On September 10, 2022, the eight horizontal wells of Jilin Oilfield Unconventional Company “Miaoxi No. 2 Platform” drilled by Songyuan Runtong 40001 drilling team and 50001 drilling team (Great Wall Drilling) were successfully completed.

"Miaoxi No. 2 Platform” is the first large-platform horizontal well development demonstration project in Jilin oilfield. It has been relocated since March 26. It has overcome the impact of adverse factors such as the new crown epidemic and the rainy season. This platform has set more than 20 records such as the longest single-day footfall (507 meters) in the horizontal section of the large-platform horizontal well in Jilin oilfield, the shortest drilling cycle of the second-level horizontal well (13.75 days), one trip to the horizontal section (9.5 days), the highest water-to-vertical ratio of 1.29, and the largest single footfall of Runtong drill bits (1965m).
