The company has 29 sets of various electric, semi-electric, and mechanical drilling rigs, including 5 sets of 70-type drilling rigs, 7 sets of 50-type drilling rigs, 7 sets of 40-type drilling rigs, and 10 sets of 30-type drilling rigs; it has the ability to drill 1 million meters per year.It can contract integrated contracting projects for large-slope directional wells, horizontal wells, branch wells and drilling.

随着油田的不断开发，储层含水逐年上升，层向干扰矛盾越发突出。为达到控水稳油、降低开发成本，提高水驱采收率，弘大联合中石油勘探开发研究院、大庆油田采油工程研究院共同开发的油田分层注采智能测调新技术。
弘大公司与高等院校、科研院所建立了密切的产学研合作关系。通过了QHSE 质量管理认证，以公司的钻井生产为实验基础，在PDC 钻头研发制造领域不断创新、攻关，使PDC 钻头研发制造跻身于业内先进行列。
公司机修厂成立于2009年，现在员工20多人，可以承修从井架、绞车、柴油机、固控设备等钻机相关构件，同时负责钻具修理、喷焊耐磨带、井控试压、宿舍房制造及维修等业务。
公司主要提供五金交电、仪表仪器、机械设备、化工产品等货物进出口、技术进出口、代理进出口服务。
公司主要提供定向井、丛式井、套管开窗侧钻井、水平井、大位移井等特殊工艺井、无线随钻测量、固井以及优质钻井液的现场技术服务等。
