On November 25th, the preliminary design of the ground project of the capacity construction project in the northern part of the Yan'an Gas Field of Yanchang Petroleum passed the technical review of 24 natural gas industry experts.

At the three-day review meeting, experts from PetroChina, Sinopec and other participating experts finally formed the review opinions of the expert group through listening to reports, questioning and answering questions, group discussions, and conference discussions, and passed the preliminary design review of the ground project of the capacity construction project in the northern part of the Yan'an Gas Field.

“This project is a key construction project of Shaanxi Province's Petroleum and Natural Gas‘14th Five-Year Plan’ development plan. It is a specific practice for Yanchang Petroleum to help the province achieve the'two-carbon‘ goal and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy and high-quality development.”The project leader introduced.

It is understood that this project is one of the starting projects of the master plan for the construction of 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas production capacity in the Yan'an Gas Field of Yanchang Petroleum. It is located in Jingbian, Yulin, Anse, Zichang, Wuqi and other areas of Yan'an. The construction period is from 2022 to 2024, and the planned production capacity is 3.88 billion cubic meters/year. The feasibility report was completed in August this year and obtained the record of the National Energy Administration on September 9.
